Katherine Harvey is a UK-based historian, writer and reviewer, specialising in medieval and early modern history. She holds a BA, MA and PhD in History from King’s College London, is an Honorary Research Fellow at Birkbeck, University of London, and teaches at the Open University. She has published widely in both academic journals and popular periodicals, including BBC History Magazine, History Today, Public Domain Review, Aeon and The Atlantic. She reviews regularly for publications including The Times,The Sunday Times, Engelsberg Ideas,and The Times Literary Supplement.
Her books include The Fires of Lust: Sex in the Middle Ages and The Medieval Guide to Healthy Living, both published by Reaktion.
